MUMBAI : Had Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor still been a couple, Kareena would have surely starred opposite him in his father Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut, Mausam. After all, Pankaj had written the script of Mausam keeping Kareena in mind.
This, of course, was when Kareena and Shahid’s relationship was going strong. The former lovers last starred together in Jab We Met.
After the Shahid-Kareena break-up, Mausam got delayed to some extent since Pankaj Kapur had to drop his plan of casting Kareena and started considering other options for the lead actress. Also, Pankaj couldn’t get a producer for a long time before Religare Vistaar Entertainment came into the picture.
A source said, “Things are fine now but they can’t go back to Kareena saying that they want her to do the film. They are feeling quite awkward about asking her to star opposite Shahid and hence they have decided to launch a nationwide hunt to look for a girl who will be suitable for the film.”

I’m big fan of Kareena: Katrina Kaif
MUMBAI : Katrina Kaif is going ga ga over Kareena and their bond. Recently giving an interview to a news channel Kat was excited to talk about her friend. Not many people know that both the vivacious actress shares the same manager too.
“She is very nice girl and I like her as well as her work. We even shares one manager and I am a big fan of her,” says Katrina.
There had been news in the industry about their cold war but with this statement of Kat, she is putting it all the rumours at rest. “Whenever we meet each other she talks with me very nicely and I too love her company. I really do admire her as one of the great actress in the industry,” she states in the interview to the entertainment channel.

Kajol and Kareena in Stepmom remake
MUMBAI : Kareena Kapoor is determined to match strides with the formidable scene-stealer Kajol in Siddharth Malhotra's film, which is inspired by director Chris Columbus 1998 hit drama Stepmom.
The actress has been quietly attending acting workshops with the film's director Siddharth Malhotra. "The last time I rehearsed for a part was for Vishal Bharadwaj's Omkara. But that was a more unconventional film and role where I had to get into a milieu and character I knew nothing about. But Stepmom is urban and very contemporary. I play a very normal metro-centric working girl," said Kareena.
Stepmom is a heart-warming tale of two women - divorced Susan Sarandon and the new woman (Julia Roberts) in her ex-husband's life - and the problems they face to find a common ground of understanding.

Salman nightmare for Vipul Shah!
MUMBAI : As of now Vipul has stopped all Salman-centric publicity for London Dreams. The Salman season has begun full-swing. After the whopping Wanted it is Salman’s home production Mr & Mrs Khanna on October 16 followed by Vipul Shah’s London Dreams on October 30.
Is this a case of a Salman overkill? Vipul doesn’t think so. But he has put a halt to all publicity involving Salman for London Dreams until Mr & Mrs Khanna is released on October 16. “There’s no point in a publicity overlap. I don’t want audiences to be confused or annoyed by repeated and overlapping images of Salman’s films. Fortunately for me both Wanted and Mr & Mrs Khanna are very different from my film, and from one another. However, it’s finally the same Salman. So, I’d rather not waste his publicity dates or my efforts to get the film noticed.”
